Utility Bill
Utility Bill’s are often used by third parties to verify your address. Utility bills often include telephone, electricity and gas bills, but can also include council tax bills.
We can notarise copies of any utility bill. In order to do this, we will need to see the original document. We will first verify the document with the issuer. We will then make a copy of it and notarise this as a true copy of the original.
In today’s society, it is common to receive paperless billing. This is not a problem at all. In order to create a copy of a paperless bill, we simply need to verify with that the paperless bill has been issued by your service provider. This can be done be verifying that the bill was downloaded from the service provider’s online portal, or that it was sent to you directly from the service provider by email.
One thing to note is the requirements of the third party, that have requested the notarised copy of your utility bill. Quite often they request either the most recent bill, or a bill that is either less than 3 months or 6 months old.
We have full colour printing facilities at our offices, so can print the bill and notarise it. Quite often this can be done remotely, saving you both time and money. We can also have the utility bill legalised with apostille if required. Give our offices a call to find out how.
